Historic Journals   

These keepsake journals are designed to accompany The Revolution Minute history subscription. Kids can use it to collect, arrange, and creatively preserve the pieces they receive throughout their 12-month journey. With a junk-journal style, children can add historical papers, illustrations, maps, vocabulary, mission cards, and other ephemera from each monthly packet while recording their own thoughts and discoveries. By the end of the year, they’ll have created a one-of-a-kind history journal that tells the story of the American Revolution and their own journey through it.

The Revolution Minute  

Receive 12 issues over a 12-month period. 

A comprehensive hands-on Revolutionary War curriculum that explores:

  • The major battles of the American Revolution
  • The people who shaped the nation's founding
  • The events and ideas that led to the war
  • Defining moments that shaped the United States

Each monthly issue includes:

  • An in-depth article covering major battles, events, and turning points woven together with firsthand quotes from soldiers, leaders, and everyday citizens.
  • A Revolutionary-era newspaper featuring influential historical figures, primary source excerpts, key vocabulary, notable quotes, and glimpses into daily colonial life
  • A continuative narrative letter written from a historical perspective.
